The International Catholic Stewardship Council recognizes the Alive in Hope Foundation for its Excellence among over one-hundred eligible Catholic Foundations.
Dallas, TX (October 11, 2009) – The Alive in Hope Foundation of the Diocese of Brooklyn was presented the International Catholic Stewardship Council’s Award for Excellence in Total Foundation Effort at its annual conference.
The International Catholic Stewardship Council represents Archdioceses and Dioceses throughout the world. Every year, competitive awards are distributed in categories related to Annual Appeals, Parish Stewardship, Planned Giving and Catholic Foundations. Last year, the Alive in Hope Foundation received Honorable Mention for its Total Foundation effort. This year, the Alive in Hope Foundation received the award for Total Foundation effort based on its structure, operations, grant making and fundraising programs, and events.
We are proud of these achievements, and realize there is much more work that needs to be done to support the spiritual, social and educational needs of the people of our great Diocese. The Alive in Hope Foundation is in excellent company among the distinguished Foundations who have received the award in previous years. The Award for Excellence in Total Foundation Effort is international acknowledgment of the Alive in Hope Foundation’s commitment to its mission and service to the people of Brooklyn and Queens.
We, in turn, acknowledge our Board, staff, and all of our Hope Builders, past and present, who partner with us and make it possible to share the gift of hope with others.
